Stichting yEUth Leads the Inauguration Day of the SWITCH Project
On February 24th, 2025, Stichting yEUth had the honour of leading the Inauguration Day of the SWITCH Project, a groundbreaking Erasmus+ initiative designed to bridge cultures, enhance digital skills, and empower young people through virtual learning.
The SWITCH Project (Switching Virtual) is an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at promoting intercultural dialogue, digital transformation, and skill development among young people from Europe, Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro. Through innovative Upskilling Labs and a Virtual Academy, the project creates a space where participants can develop essential soft skills, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and financial knowledge, all while engaging in meaningful intercultural exchanges. The Inauguration Day of the SWITCH Project was an engaging and interactive event. Participants were welcomed with icebreaker activities, live polls, and breakout room discussions, fostering an immediate sense of connection and collaboration.
The sessions included an introduction to project partners, an overview of the Virtual Academy and Upskilling Labs, and a keynote speech on the future of distant learning, highlighting the growing role of digital education and skill development. A panel discussion on EU opportunities provided insights into Erasmus+ programs, funding, and international mobility, encouraging young people to take advantage of available resources.
With a strong start, the SWITCH Project is now moving forward, ready to empower youth, foster digital transformation, and promote global collaboration. Stichting yEUth is proud to lead this initiative and invites young people, educators, and organizations to get involved. If you’re passionate about intercultural learning, digital innovation, and youth empowerment, this is your chance to be part of something transformative.
