In early 2025, Stichting yEUth will join SWITCH partners to launch the Virtual Academy—a digital learning space where youth workers, educators, and young leaders will come together for a transformative intercultural experience.

The Academy is a core part of the SWITCH project’s commitment to empowering young people with digital literacy and fostering a spirit of collaboration across cultures.

Through a structured MOOC platform, the Virtual Academy will offer interactive modules on digital skills, media literacy, and intercultural communication. Participants from the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro will engage in a range of activities, from moderated online discussions to small group work, all guided by experienced facilitators.

We’re particularly excited to help Dutch youth connect with their peers in the Western Balkans, breaking down cultural barriers and building friendships across borders. For Stichting yEUth, the Virtual Academy is more than a course—it’s a bridge that brings young people closer, equipping them with the tools to navigate our digital world and make meaningful connections.
