ReLeaf Through Art

Kick Off Meeting

We are excited to announce the official kick-off of the Erasmus+ Training Course “ReLeaf Through Art, Eco-Artivism for Climate Awareness and Community Action”, a project that brings together organisations from seven European countries to explore the connection between art, environmental awareness and youth participation.

The project, coordinated by ART HUB Athens, will take place in Athens, Greece, from 18 to 25 November 2026, gathering 35 youth workers, educators, facilitators, artists and community practitioners from Greece, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Malta, Latvia and Portugal.

The kick-off meeting marked the beginning of the partners’ collaboration, providing an opportunity to review the project’s objectives, discuss organisational responsibilities and coordinate the next steps towards a successful implementation. The meeting also focused on participant selection, communication between partners and ensuring a high-quality learning experience for everyone involved.

“ReLeaf Through Art” aims to demonstrate how artistic expression and eco-artivism can become powerful tools for promoting climate awareness, sustainability and active citizenship. Through non-formal education methods, creative workshops and intercultural exchange, participants will develop practical approaches that can later be transferred to their local communities.

Throughout the training course, participants will explore topics such as eco-artivism, environmental awareness, climate resilience, nature-based learning, community participation and creative facilitation. The project encourages collaboration, critical thinking and collective action while creating an inclusive and supportive international learning environment.

As a project partner, Stichting yEUth is proud to contribute to this international initiative and looks forward to working together with all partner organisations to create meaningful learning experiences and empower youth workers across Europe.

Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare for an inspiring week of creativity, learning and environmental action in Athens!
