It's a FACT! Toolkit is Now Available!

We are excited to announce that the #FACT! Toolkit is officially available!

Created during the Erasmus+ Training Course “It’s a FACT! – Fostering Awareness and Critical Thinking in Media Literacy to Combat Fake News”, this toolkit is the result of an international collaboration between youth workers, trainers, and educators from across Europe who came together to address one of the most pressing challenges of our digital era: misinformation and fake news.

Throughout the training course, participants explored the causes and consequences of disinformation, learned practical fact-checking methods, and exchanged good practices on media literacy and digital citizenship. Using non-formal education methodologies, they developed educational activities and resources that can now be used by youth workers, teachers, trainers, and youth organisations worldwide.

The toolkit includes a variety of practical activities designed to:

  • Promote critical thinking among young people.
  • Strengthen media literacy competences.
  • Develop fact-checking and information verification skills.
  • Raise awareness about misinformation and disinformation.
  • Encourage responsible digital citizenship.
  • Support youth workers in addressing fake news in their daily work.

The publication of the toolkit represents one of the main outcomes of the #FACT! project and reflects the collective efforts, creativity, and expertise of all participants and partner organisations involved.

We believe that empowering young people to critically evaluate information is essential for building more informed, resilient, and democratic societies.

📖 Download the toolkit and discover practical tools to combat fake news and strengthen media literacy in your community.

Stay informed. Stay critical. Stay FACT!
