The #FACT! project is a response to the digital epidemic of disinformation that currently sees 70% of Europeans encountering fake news daily. Our primary mission is to transform 38 youth workers into digital guardians who are media-literate and capable of teaching these vital skills to the next generation. Our goal is to protect democratic life and reinforce EU values against the corrosive effects of misinformation and AI-generated falsehoods.

The mobility itself is designed to be held in Schaijk, The Netherlands. It is an immersive, non-formal project that dives into the psychology behind conspiracy theories, unmask the influence of social media algorithms, and master high-tech fact-checking tools. Through a mix of team-building, interactive workshops, and expert-led sessions, the group will move from theoretical understanding to practical mastery.

The project concludes with an Action Phase where participants will collaboratively build a Fake News Prevention Toolkit and produce a series of educational videos. These results are built to last: when our youth workers return to their home countries, they will bring a localized strategy and a European network of support to ensure the fight for truth continues in every community.
