Alexia Kakourou from yEUth and Hanna Olesiak from Poland finished a six-month exchange through the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program.
They used this time to link theoretical knowledge with practical management tasks. Hanna took part in the exchange to build the skills she needs for her own non-profit for youth empowerment. She learned how to write project proposals and manage financial sustainability. Alexia hoped to find fresh energy and improve the social media presence of her organization. The entrepreneurs used a mentorship model with weekly meetings to review their progress.
Hanna became part of the daily work at yEUth and joined meetings with partners. She managed the organisation’s website and created a social media campaign to talk to more young people. This gave her practical experience with content creation and international networking. Alexia found that these creative efforts improved the visibility of yEUth and provided new ways to reach a younger audience. This exchange turned into a lasting professional partnership. Hanna gained the tools to start a sustainable organisation and lead workshops.
Alexia benefited from an updated digital strategy and reached more people in the Polish market. Both women made new international contacts through their shared activities.
They now plan to work together on future programs and share resources across borders.
