Stichting yEUth is offering an exciting opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ funded internship in the areas of Project Management, European Funding, and (Digital) Communication. Stichting yEUth is a leading NGO based in Leiden, dedicated to empowering youth, promoting human rights, and developing innovative educational and social projects. Our work focuses on creating impactful programs that support youth development, education, and the active involvement of young people in decision-making processes. We collaborate with European partners to deliver projects that inspire change and foster youth engagement.

Internship Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated university students to support our work in the following areas:

Project Management
Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing projects focused on youth empowerment and human rights.

European Funding

Help research and apply for European funding opportunities, including grants related to youth work and human rights.

(Digital) Communication
Contribute to the development of our digital communication strategies, including managing social media, content creation, and outreach to promote our projects.

Internship Details

  • Duration: 3-6 months (flexible based on university requirements)
  • Location: Leiden, Netherlands (with possible remote work for certain tasks)
  • Hours: Part-time/Full-time (at least 30 hours per week, adaptable to your university schedule)
  • Compensation: Erasmus+ Traineeship funding (covering travel, accommodation, and a living allowance)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program related to human rights, youth empowerment, social sciences, education, communications, or similar fields
  • Strong interest in European youth projects and human rights initiatives
  • Proficiency in English 
  • Self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience or coursework in project management, funding, or communication is an advantage
