Climate change is no longer a distant concern—it’s a reality shaping the lives and futures of young people across Europe. The CADPRO Handbook was created to respond to this urgency, offering a concrete set of tools for youth workers, trainers, and educators who want to empower young people to take meaningful climate action.

Developed within the Erasmus+ project Youth Voices for Climate Action in European Elections, CADPRO brings together the expertise of partners from Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Spain, and Portugal. It is more than a manual—it is a living resource that connects awareness, advocacy, and leadership.

The handbook is built around four modules:

1. Climate Awareness – activities to understand causes, impacts, and solutions.

2. Advocacy Skills – practical tools for campaigning, policy dialogue, and reaching decision-makers.

3. Countering Misinformation – games and workshops to sharpen critical thinking and media literacy.

4. Leadership & Campaigning – simulations and team challenges that prepare young people to lead.

Rather than presenting facts alone, CADPRO focuses on practice. Young people engage through debates, simulations, storytelling, and creative activism. Every activity is supported by trainer notes, reflection questions, and printable materials that make it easy to adapt to different groups and contexts.

The handbook is designed for youth workers, educators, trainers, and facilitators working in non-formal education. Its flexible structure allows it to be used in schools, youth groups, local initiatives, or international trainings. Most importantly, it ensures that young people themselves remain at the center of the process—as learners, leaders, and changemakers.

At its core, the CADPRO Handbook is about turning awareness into agency. It reminds us that while climate change is a global challenge, the power to act, mobilize, and inspire begins locally—with every young person who chooses to raise their voice.
