PROACT Project Dissemination Event in Leiden

On February 27th, Stichting yEUth hosted a dissemination event in Leiden, bringing together young people and youth workers to explore the outcomes of the PROACT project. The event was a space to reflect on the achievements of past mobilities, celebrate the shared experiences, and introduce the tools developed during the initiative.

During the event, participants engaged in discussions about the objectives and results of the PROACT project. The gathering provided an opportunity to showcase the milestones achieved through different activities, including training sessions, digital activism workshops, and collaborative initiatives that empowered youth workers and young people with digital skills. Visual presentations, videos, and testimonials from participants of previous mobilities brought the project to life, highlighting the impact it had on individuals and communities.

The event also fostered an exchange of experiences and insights among participants, strengthening the network of young activists and professionals dedicated to youth empowerment. Through open discussions, attendees shared their perspectives on the role of digital activism in today’s society and explored how they could apply the knowledge gained from PROACT in their local contexts. This interactive aspect of the event helped to build new collaborations and inspire future initiatives.

About the PROACT Project

The PROACT project, funded under the Erasmus+ program, aims to empower youth workers and young people by enhancing their digital skills and promoting digital activism. The project responds to the increasing importance of digital tools in civic engagement and social activism, providing young people with the necessary competencies to advocate for their rights and address social challenges.

PROACT focuses on training youth workers in digital literacy, storytelling, and activism methods, equipping them to support young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through a series of mobilities, workshops, and the creation of a comprehensive toolkit, the project has contributed to fostering digital inclusion, active citizenship, and youth participation in democratic processes.
