Erasmus+ Dissemination Event in Leiden

On February 27th, Stichting yEUth hosted a dissemination event in Leiden, bringing together young people and youth workers to explore the impact of past projects and discover the wide range of EU-funded opportunities available for youth and youth professionals. This event was a platform to present the possibilities offered by Erasmus+ and other European programs while inviting to discussions on mobility, non-formal education, and international collaboration.

The gathering welcomed a diverse audience, including participants who were already familiar with Erasmus+ programs and those who were completely new to the world of EU-funded opportunities. This mix of experience levels created a dynamic environment where seasoned participants could share their personal insights, while newcomers could ask questions and gain first-hand knowledge about how they, too, could take part in transformative international experiences.

Throughout the event, we presented a selection of past projects, highlighting their goals, achievements, and impact on participants.

A key part of the dissemination event was an interactive discussion on the practical aspects of Erasmus+ opportunities. Participants learned about youth exchanges, training courses, volunteering options, and capacity-building programs tailored to youth workers. The session covered application processes, eligibility criteria, and tips on making the most of these opportunities. The event concluded with an open networking session, allowing attendees to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss potential collaborations.

It was inspiring to see both experienced Erasmus+ participants and first-time attendees engaging in meaningful conversations about the role of international mobility in personal and professional growth.

At Stichting yEUth, we strongly believe in the power of Erasmus+ and other EU-funded initiatives to create life-changing experiences for young people. This dissemination event was a step toward increasing awareness, accessibility, and engagement in European programs.
