PHOTO COMPETITION - CAPTURING HUMAN RIGHTS THROUGH THE LENS

Stichting yEUth is excited to announce its participation in the Erasmus+ Photography Contest “Defending the Right to Humanity for All,” an initiative hosted by partners from Greece, France, and the Netherlands. This unique contest, open until December 15, 2024, invites youth aged 18 to 30 to showcase their artistic vision on pressing topics like inclusion, equality, and human rights.

Through this inspiring project, participants have the chance to creatively explore themes such as gender equality, inclusion of migrants and refugees, and reducing inequalities. By capturing these critical issues through photography, participants contribute to the global dialogue on human rights and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Youth from France, Greece, and the Netherlands can submit their entries through an online submission form. The contest provides an incredible platform for young people to express their perspectives, connect with peers, and showcase their talent to a broader audience. With cash prizes and creative expression, this contest fosters a shared commitment to human rights advocacy.

Prizes for the top participants are as follows:

-1st Prize: €300
-2nd Prize: €200
-3rd Prize: €100

The project has already received enthusiastic support from participants who are eager to share their unique stories and perspectives through photography. This contest allows youth to express their perspective on human rights in a way they never imagined. It nurtures a deeply inspiring experience to connect with meaningful themes and bring them to life through photography.”

Stichting yEUth sincerely thanks our partners Neoanalysis (Greece) and ORULA (France) for their efforts in creating such an impactful project. Together, we are working to empower young people across Europe to engage with human rights issues and make their voices heard.
